South Fork HOA I is sharing a voluntary tree removal and replacement opportunity for homeowners with oak trees in the easement that are damaging sidewalks, lifting concrete, or creating potential trip hazards.
This program gives homeowners a simple way to remove a problem oak tree, grind the stump, restore the area with soil, and install a new approved replacement tree.
South Fork HOA I does not receive any money or financial benefit from this program.
The package includes:
✔ Removal of one oak tree
✔ Stump grinding
✔ Clearing and hauling away all debris
✔ Soil installation to help fill the stump area
✔ Installation of one replacement tree
✔ Choice of either a 5-foot Foxtail Palm or 5-foot Magnolia tree
✔ Soil installation to promote healthy growth for the new tree
A Foxtail Palm offers a clean, tropical look and works well in Florida landscaping. It provides an attractive replacement option without the same large surface-root issues commonly associated with mature oak trees.
A Magnolia tree provides a classic Southern look with rich green foliage and beautiful blooms. It is a strong option for homeowners who prefer a more traditional tree appearance.
This price is per one oak tree removed and one replacement tree installed.

Many of the oak trees located within community easements have contributed to sidewalk lifting and uneven walking surfaces over time.
South Fork Easement Tree Renewal Program was developed to provide homeowners with an affordable option to remove these problematic trees and replace them with approved alternatives that are less likely to create future sidewalk issues.
